Where is the 2022 Lines for Life Always Hope Gala being held?

What Covid precautions are being taken?
We know that Covid is on everyone’s mind these days so guests at the Always Hope Gala will be required to show proof of vaccine and wear a mask to enter the event. Masks are not required while dining. Anyone with a medical or religious exemption, may present a negative test result (test taken within 72 hours of the event) at the door.
The Loft at 8th Avenue supplies no-touch liquid sanitizing stations at the entrance and throughout the venue, along with signage for best practice safety protocols. The venue has hospital-grade HEPA air filters on all HVAC throughout the building. The Annex has a 32’ expanse of retractable glass doors that will be open for increased air flow and the outdoor patio space is tented for an open-air cocktail hour!
How do I attend this event?
To celebrate with us in-person on Thursday, March 10, 2022; you will need to purchase event ticket(s) or a sponsorship. Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased here Details on sponsorship information are available here. We will also be streaming the live program and that is available to anyone, anywhere for free. You can register for the virtual program here.
Will I receive a ticket to the event?
No. Physical tickets will not be issued. By purchasing tickets or a sponsorship, your name and the names of your guests will be added to our attendees list and you will simply check in when you arrive at the event!
How do I participate if I am not attending the Always Hope Gala in person?
Wanting to get a jump start on bidding? Perhaps you are not in the Portland area or are looking to bid without attending the in-person event? Our virtual auction will open Thursday, March 3 and close March 10. You will have plenty of time to bid on travel, sports, and pampering packages no matter where you are!
In addition to participating in the virtual auction, you can make a donation in support of the event. Under “Tickets and Sponsorships to the Always Hope Gala”, scroll down to “I would like to make a donation” and choose your custom amount. No registration is required to donate!
We also encourage you to invite your friends and family to attend the live event, virtual auction, or to make a donation in support of Lines for Life’s mission.
How do I donate an item/gift certificate/paddle raise to the auction?

How does the online auction work?
The online auction will be opening Thursday, March 3 at 12:00 p.m. and closing on Thursday, March 10 at 8:00 p.m. Email instructions on registering for the auction will be sent prior to the opening.
You can view each auction package and bid as often and as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support Lines for Life, you will be able to make donations before and during the event through the online auction website.
What will the live event include?
We are excited to be able to get together in person. We will be celebrating all that Lines for Life has accomplished over the last two years and look forward to 2022’s exciting new initiatives. The Always Hope Gala will include a cocktail hour so you can visit mask-to-mask, a gourmet 3-course dinner from Vibrant Table, and a live auction hosted by our leading lady and auctioneer, Johnna Wells.
If I win an online auction package, how do I pick-up that package?
You will be notified by email if you win an auction package in the online auction. Packages can be delivered to homes within the greater Portland area or pick up at Lines for Life can be arranged. Shipment can be arranged for any winning bidders located outside of the Portland metro area. The winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items (not gift certificates).
