Our Special Guests
Nicholas Kristof
Pulitzer Prize-Winning New York Times Columnist
In 1990, Oregonian Nicholas Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, became the first husband-wife team to win a Pulitzer Prize for journalism. Kristof went on to win another in 2006, and he and WuDunn have written five best-selling books. In their latest book, Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope (2020), Kristof draws from his childhood experiences and relationships in rural Oregon and issues a plea to address the deaths of despair in working-class America. Kristof now lives on his family farm in Yamhill, Oregon.
We Three
Sibling Pop Trio featured on America’s Got Talent
Three musically-inclined siblings from McMinnville, Oregon, make up this dynamic, thoughtful band. Since appearing on America’s Got Talent in 2018 – singing original songs that had Mel B in tears with “Lifeline” and “Heaven’s Not Too Far” – We Three have successfully intertwined Pop music with thoughtful lyrics that open up dialogue about mental health.
